How much does it cost to hire a photography studio in Noosa?
The Content Studio at The Creative Exchange costs $100 for 1 hour, $180 for 2 hours, $300 for a half day and $420 for a full day. Prices include GST.
How much does the podcast studio cost to hire?
The Podcast Studio costs $80 for 1 hour, $160 for 2 hours, $280 for a half day and $350 for a full day. Prices include GST.
How much does the Event Space cost?
The Event Space costs $80 for 1 hour, $160 for 2 hours, $280 for a half day and $350 for a full day. Prices include GST.
How long is a half day and a full day?
A half day is 4 hours and a full day is 8 hours.
Is there a bond for the Event Space?
$500 refundable bond for the Event Space is held at time of booking and refunded within 7 days of your event if there is no damage to the space.
Do Exchange members get a discount?
Yes. Dedicated desk and private office members get 10% off studio hire with a members-only discount code.
What's Included
What equipment comes with the Content Studio?
The Content Studio includes various backdrops, 2 Godox SL300III lights, 2 large Godox octagon softboxes, 2 heavy-duty 260cm light stands, a modular sofa, props and a green room
What equipment comes with the Podcast Studio?
The Podcast Studio includes a Rode PodCaster Pro II, 2 PodMic USB dynamic microphones, 2 Rode studio boom arms, 2 LED light panels and high-speed NBN internet. It's styled for video, so you can film your episodes as well as record them.
What's included with the Event Space?
The Event Space includes large sofas (which can be moved out), a foldable table, stackable chairs, complimentary tea and coffee, and high-speed NBN internet. Catering can be arranged by prior agreement.
How many people fit in each space?
Content studio can comfortably fit a family plus photographer, podcast studio 3 presenters and one op, event space depends on sitting or standing events so please call to discuss.
Can I use the props?
Yes. A selection of props is available on request. Let us know what you're after when you book.
Is there coffee?
Yes. There's an onsite coffee cart at The Exchange, and complimentary tea and coffee in the Event Space.
Can someone help with editing or tech set-up?
Technical set up and editing support is available at an extra cost, so just ask us and we'll be happy to arrange.
Is the podcast studio soundtreated?
Yes. The podcast recording space is sound treated and video-ready
Booking
How do I book the studio?
You book and pay online through The Creative Exchange booking page. Choose the space, the length of your booking, and a date and time, and you'll get a confirmation email straight away.
What hours is the studio available?
The studios can be booked Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 6:30pm. Full-day bookings start between 8:00am and 9:30am.
Can I start earlier than 8am?
Yes. A 7:30am early start can be arranged. Call us on 07 5448 1935 before you book.
How far ahead can I book?
You can book up to 60 days ahead, and up to 4 hours before your start time.
When do I pay?
You pay in full when you book online.
Do I have time to set up?
Yes. We leave time between bookings so you can set up and pack down without rushing. Please do allow yourself enough time within your booking for bump in and bump out of equipment.
What happens when I arrive?
Come to reception at 29 Rene St, Noosaville, and one of our team will meet you and show you to your space.
Where do I park?
There is onsite and free street parking at 29 Rene St, Noosaville
Do you close for public holidays?
es. The Exchange is closed on Queensland public holidays and over Christmas, from 24 December to 4 January.
Changes and Cancellations
What is your cancellation policy for studio hire?
Cancel 48 hours or more before your booking for a full refund. Within 48 hours there's no refund, but you can move your booking once to another date within 30 days.
Can I change my booking myself?
es. Your confirmation email has links to cancel or reschedule. The cancel link works until 48 hours before your booking, and the reschedule link until 24 hours before.
What if my shoot runs over time?
We try to be as flexible as possible but please talk to us if you think your shoot will run. If no one is booked in after your shoot you can continue and will be charged the additional time at the end of your booking. If there is a booking after you we may not be able to accommodate additional time.

Can I book a photographer as well as the studio?
Yes. Our in-house photographer offers personal branding, headshots, family and maternity sessions. See our Portrait Photography page to book.
Is there somewhere to work before or after my booking?
Yes. The Work Exchange coworking space is in the same building, with hot desks available by the day or hour.
