The Fashion Exchange is a curated pre-loved clothing store in Noosaville and we've improved the normal rent-a-rack system into something that actually sells your clothes, rather than just displaying them.
The problem
Selling pre-loved clothes is more work than it should be
You know the drill. The photos that take longer than expected. The messages from people who ask four questions and then disappear. The Marketplace buyer who shows up late, haggles, and leaves with your favourite jacket for $8.
Traditional rent-a-rack setups have the same problem, just in a different format. Your clothes are on a rail in the corner. Nothing is easy to find. The experience is frustrating for the buyer, which means fewer sales for you.
Your clothes deserve a better shop front than that.
The solution
Retail. Not a car boot sale.
Instead of displaying your pieces on a separate rack, we mix them into our stock by category. Your skirts go with our skirts. Your denim goes with our denim.
This isn't just tidier it's smarter. Shoppers browse naturally, find what they're looking for without having to hunt, and buy. Less friction for the customer means better conversion for you.

Why not just sell on Marketplace or Depop?
You can, and it works for some things. But Marketplace means managing messages, meetups, and lowball offers. Vinted means postage, returns, and competing with thousands of other listings. The Fashion Exchange means dropping off your pieces and letting us do the selling in a real store, to real local shoppers who came in to buy.
What if my clothes don't sell?
The category-integrated system genuinely converts better than traditional rent-a-rack because the shopping experience is better. Pricing your pieces well is the biggest factor. We'll give you guidance on that when you sign up.
$200 a month feels like a lot if I'm not sure it'll work.
Start with one month and see how it goes. $200 for 30 hangers in a curated retail store that's open four days a week to the public. If your pieces are priced right, it pays for itself quickly.
